Ohne zurückzuschauen, denn Zurückblicken ist Zeitverschwendung„NEVER LOOKING BACK“.
I was hiding, tried to get away.
Was always running out of breath, my way.
´Cause I did not dare to make a break, on any day or night.
In Tennessee, I got a place to hide.
Rode day and night across the countryside.
The wind blew so hard, I almost heared it call my name.
I stole the horse I am riding now.
So I´m ready for the final show.
If they gonna catch me, I´m on the wrong side of the law.
But I don´t mind, yes, I don´t mind,
She stole my money, this so cunning wife.
But I, for my part, have stolen horses – all my life.
SOLO
I have seen the sun go down the border line, border line.
Was never looking back. Looking back, a waste of time.
Looking back, waste of time, waste of time.
SOLO
But as she tried to steal my heart,
She saw that soon we´re gonna be apart.
´Cause I´m being hunted in a dust of freedom, day by day.
Still I´m hiding, try to get away.
And always running out of breath today.
I can´t bring myself to take a break, on every day or night.
I have seen the sun go down the border line, border line.
(I have seen the sun go down the border line)
I´m never looking back. Looking back, a waste of time.
(Looking back, looking back, a waste of time)
Looking back, waste of time, waste of time.
(Looking back, a waste of time)
